This month, Russia’s space agency, Roscosmos, selected an actor and director to head to space in October to film a movie provisionally titled “Challenge.” Russia’s plans will launch alongside a rival plan by NASA, SpaceX and Tom Cruise, who will also be filming a movie in space the same month on the International Space Station.
